A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at the Department of Motor Vehicles on Sutton Way in Glenbrook Basin, a caller reported at 9:25 a.m.


— Shannon Lee Satterfield, 29, of Nevada City was arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine possession, transporting meth, possession of meth for sale, possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, and being under the influence of a controlled substance. She was booked at 7:44 p.m. into Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on $26,000 bail.

Lt. David Baxley said she was arrested by narcotics agents conducting surveillance. The arrest location wasn’t immediately available.

— Stacie M. Laney, 21, of Rough and Ready was arrested at 8:57 p.m. at the corner of Highway 20 and Penn Valley Drive on suspicion of check fraud, failure to appear in court, possession of a controlled substance, paraphernalia possession, giving false information to an officer, resisting arrest, syringe possession of materials with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, transporting a controlled substance and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. She was booked on $28,500 bail.

— A home on the 11000 block of Slate Creek Road near Ridge Road was burglarized, a caller reported at 1:08 p.m.
