Nevada County Sheriff’s Office


— Items were stolen from a house under construction on the 10000 block of Pleasant Hill Court near Newtown Road and Highway 49, a caller reported at 8:08 a.m.

— Ten callers reported between 9:30 a.m. and 4:10 p.m. getting repeated calls from someone saying, “Wrong number,” and hanging up. Callers were referred to their phone companies.

— A juvenile at Nevada Union High School was cited at 11:57 a.m. for marijuana possession.

Grass Valley Police Department


— Several electronic devices were stolen from Record Connection on Sutton Way, a caller reported at 12:46 p.m.

— A patient at Golden Empire Convalescent Hospital, 121 Dorsey Drive, grabbed another patient to get the individual’s ice cream, a caller reported at 10:58 a.m.
