Concerning the letter to the editor titled “Doolittle no conservative” on Sept. 7: It is interesting that the writer refers to a bill that was passed, H.R. 393, which supposedly is increasing our household taxes by $21,053. What is this H.R. 393? I went online to, which lists all the bills, both passed and not, since 1973. No H.R. 393 has passed since 1973. What is the writer talking about? Before writing a letter to the editor making claims, please check your facts.
