Paying his bills online, debit

I recently sent a first-class letter to the East Coast that took nine days to arrive. The envelope was pre-printed and bar coded. This past Saturday, I sent a priority letter to Texas. It arrived Tuesday. No problem? I also purchased the delivery confirmation option. From Tuesday through Sunday, neither the Internet nor phone confirmation system was functioning. Yet during this time, the local post office was still encouraging customers to purchase this nonexistent option.

This June, first-class postage is increasing 8.8 percent in cost. My solution? Of the eight monthly bills that I pay, four are now paid via Internet or direct bank debit. My goal is to soon pay all bills in this manner.
