Paleface discrimination

Last year, Chapa De tried to expand their clinic from across the street to their property on the corner of Sierra College Drive and West Main Street. The ignorant palefaces of the Grass Valley City Council hassled them until they gave up for the sake of impacting the intersection with five or six cars and hour and the worry that they may put slot machines in their waiting rooms.

There has been no mention of the deforestation, giant cut-banks, parking lots and office buildings now in construction on the same drive and impacting the same intersection with far more traffic. The CalTrans Dorsey freeway access project has now been diverted to widening Highway 49. The palefaces have uttered not one word.

If Holiday Express can’t make it, they will probably turn it into a casino, now that there is pressure to allow gambling on non-Indian land in California.
