Only ghosts know truth of Red Castle’s place in history

Regarding Conley Weaver’s Cat House Castle (“Red Castle never has been a brothel, Feb. 11), if ghosts from the “good ole days” could talk, they’d have a few naughty stories for you, Mr. Weaver, about the light at the end of the tunnels.

Maybe “cat house castle” is more historically accurate than brothel.

These establishments were quite often privately owned by good families.

You should be prouder of your lodging’s history.
