On flag-waving and Enron

Did you notice how some people have to emphasize how patriotic they are by wearing our national flag around their neck ? Hi buddy, just call me by my first name, I am one of you. I am a Real American, join me.

Then there are others who have to let the world know how good they are by supporting charities and volunteer work. Of course, they are the ones doing the talking while others doing the good work in silence.

Then there are those who will scream loud and clear how religious they are in case God can’t hear or see them and let the world know how God is thinking. Let’s climb on the bandwagon to show and scream our opinions and muffle the sound of reason.

And when they stray, which is humanly possible, they can still buy Enron book “Code of Ethics” for a mere $ 300- in mint condition.

In case that doesn’t work, you can claim your Fifth Amendment right. Still in hot water and you have executive privileges and to beat being subpoenaed, you can visit some countries and see how you oil-pipelines are doing.

When things really get nasty and you want to get even at your enemy? Visit your friendly “Camel Club” in Fort Detrick. It beats going to Iraq.
