Not such a hero

I just finished reading the article on the “hero” who stopped a car stereo from being stolen in Penn Valley. I can’t believe a mother with children in her car would risk their lives and hers by stopping and confronting men who were obviously doing something wrong. And then to jump in the car with these men, leaving her children behind, for a silly car stereo, just makes me sick. In my mind, a hero would have driven a safe distance away, then stopped and called 911, keeping both her and her children out of harm’s way.
