Nobody’s pawn

A few years ago, I attended nearly all the Nevada City Planning Commission meetings when the highly controversial 80-unit apartment complex project on West Broad Street was presented. Ruth Poulter was the chair at those meetings, and led them calmly and professionally when, at any second, a riot could have erupted. Ruth saw to it that everybody remained calm and to the point. Ruth is smart, rational and professional and should be on the city council. She’s nobody’s pawn. She thinks and acts with reason. Vote for Ruth Poulter for Nevada City City Council.
