NH 2020 group sees recommendations

The lead committee for Nevada County’s long-range planning program, Natural Heritage 2020, plans to review recommendations from its subcommittees from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.Thursday night.

The 15-member Community Advisory Committee is slated to discuss recommendations on forestry and mining in the Stone Hall of Miners Foundry, 325 Spring St., Nevada City.

The start time for public comment is 9:15 p.m. and may be limited to 3 minutes.

An update on Proposition 40, passed this month and billed as the “clean air and safe parks” bond, is also on the agenda.

The next regularly scheduled meeting is April 25 at St. Joseph’s Cultural Center in Grass Valley.
