Next burning home may be yours

Nevada City needs its fire station manned 24 hours a day, not just 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. What rule says that we will not have a fire after 5?

Our firemen did a miraculous job in March 2002 when the Elks Building burned; the complete block of upper Broad and Commercial streets could have been destroyed.

We all will feel much safer each night knowing that our firemen are on duty. Remember, it is your home and family that will be protected.

Vote yes on Measure K.
