Nader and the GOP

This is a message to all those idealistic Ralph Nader voters out there: Ralph has some really good ideas. The problem is he doesn’t stand a chance of winning anything. Last time out he garnered 2.9 million votes and succeeded in electing the worst president in U.S. history.

Ralph is now accepting Republican money. As a matter of fact, the Republicans, in their now familiar cynical style, are actively working to get him on the ballot under the guise of “equitable choice.” That guy collecting signatures to put Nader on the ballot may be getting paid by a Republican-funded group who have only one motive: Drain potential Democratic votes away from Kerry.

Arianna Huffington said it most succinctly: “… When your house is on fire, it’s not time to talk about remodeling … First, put out the fire.”
