Top 10 tattoos inked by tattoo artist Zoey Hunter, who lives in Penn Valley:

10. The wheel of a motorcycle, with oil can and wrenches hanging off it like a medicine wheel. The man who got this tattoo chased Hunter through four states, trying to schedule an appointment.

9. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, tattooed on a woman.



8. Butterfly tattooed on an older ill person, to symbolize the beginning of the end.

7. Many free tattoos to cover mastectomy scars for breast cancer patients.




6. An Indian embedded in a mural landscape scene, all done with dotted lines covering the entire back of a man.

5. Hunter’s own tattoo, a heart with the word “Father,” inked with the ashes of her deceased father.

4. Flames on an older woman whose husband left her for his younger secretary. The tattoo was in preparation for a nude seniors cruise.
