Mural needs vote

I myself like many others I have spoken with (or have read letters or comments from) are not happy with the purposed mural for the Del Oro. I contacted the Downtown Association to view my opposition. I was informed it was only a preliminary sketch and to speak with Howard Levine. I will speak with Howard and urge others to do as well. If this does not persuade them to let the citizens of Grass Valley have a say in this project, I am ready to start a petition to have it put on hold until we can choose by some means what will be painted. I want to be able to enjoy looking at a piece of art work that I will see every day. Maybe this artist can come up with a new sketch that represents our area.
