More dancers, the merrier!

My daughters and I are former Grass Valley residents and are in the process of moving back. The past four years have been spent in Marin County, my hometown, but we dearly miss the family focus that Grass Valley and Nevada City possess … and one crucial component that made living in the area so special was the commitment residents had to the arts.

After reading the article on the hiatus Reach for the Stars program is taking, I say, the more the merrier! I agree that both the more professional dancers and all dancers that don’t fit that category be allowed their moment in the spotlight. Keep the focus on inclusion, for the arts are meant to be open to all, which is what opens our hearts.
