Moore is a saint

I read your thrashing of “Fahrenheit 9/11.” (Jeff Ackerman column, June 29). You admit that you did not see the documentary, yet are an ardent critic. You state that there are “fairy tales” in the movie. Compared to the total lies of the Bush administration, Moore is a saint.

The documentary does not have on its hands the blood of over 850 dead soldiers, over 5,000 wounded, plus thousands of dead Iraqis, many of them innocent. Also billions of wasted dollars.

You write of the liberal press, but fail to mention the Wall Street Journal, the most conservative paper which, by the way, has the largest circulation of any U.S. newspaper. Then there is the New York Times and the Washington Post. And how about conservative talk radio with idiots like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Riley?

An unnecessary war based on lies, greed and oil. We all know that Saddam was a no-good b——, but he was contained and was not a threat to the U.S. History will state that this war was a terrible mistake and that this administration was a disaster.
