Monday |

In Monday’s The Union you will find:

— A story from award-winning feature writer David Mirhadi about foster homes, parents and children. It’s a look at why they get there and how things turn out, good, bad and indifferent.

— The subject of our regular Monday page A2 feature, Meet Your Neighbor, is Hilary Schwartz, 26, who is more than glad she moved here from Anchorage, Alaska, and that there are more than two roads out of town here.

— Our Youth section features a story by Garrett Fevinger about young Allyse Rastaetter and Paris Alexander, who worked in a law library this summer. There will also be a column by Morgan Nettles about parents and students adjusting to the often emotional experience of leaving for college.
