Miller deserves support

After reading the editor’s “Ideas & Opinions’ section in the Saturday The Union about the current Nevada City investigation, I find it puzzling that some of the city’s residents are trying to lay the blame on City Manager Mark Miller. The incidents cited by Mr. Butler in “Ideas & Opinions” all occurred between 1990 and 2000, years before Miller was hired.

Instead of trying to find fault with someone who is trying to correct past problems it would seem we should be lending Mr. Miller our full support. Or is this just another example of some wishing to kill the messenger bearing news we are embarrassed to hear?
