The agreements/promises that were made by city planners (or whoever) and homeowners were conveniently swept under the rug. For example, they were supposed to replace/supply topsoil, re-plant the lawns that they tore up. Instead they through out some chunky clay fill dirt full of the kind of weeds that until now I only saw in places on the outter-edges of town. Let’s not forget the fence they “scrapped” back together. And last – (well not really but … ) let’s not forget about the “forgetting” to reconnect the sewer line from a house to the main line in the road. (A city employee told me it was roughly a $10,000 mistake.) Wow. That made a mess. OK one more, the 2-feet deep section of missing sidewalk they failed to caution-tape off that I stepped in and broke my shin because they left the streets pitch black without any kind of lighting whatsoever for weeks/months. I could go on and on …
