Meth or Alzheimer’s?

Is it meth, Alzheimer’s or poor education? Regarding your article in Monday, June 7, entitled, “Remembering Reagan,” I am saddened but not surprised that The Union’s reporter interviewed people in Grass Valley to ask their thoughts about Reagan and actually found two who “said they did not recognize the name at all.”

Is this lack of awareness of our recent past due to meth? Or could that teenager and man in his early 40s already have Alzheimer’s? Or is the education in our schools really that poor?
