Meltdown changes life

Ann Lewis

My life has changed since the Nevada County Meltdown and the opportunities which businesses like Fast and Fit offered to the community.

I have a history of continual back pain and have always wanted to get past the problem and then maintain optimum health, but never found a way to accomplish my goal. Being caught up in the cycle of pain with the inability to exercise, continual unrelieved stress and, consequently more pain, I cautiously began my fitness adventure, hoping to gain strength and muscle tone before another serious back pain episode.

Here I am six months after Meltdown and I cannot remember ever feeling better! I have muscles I never knew were there, I feel more alive than ever, and I am definitely “hooked” on physical activity. I’m now so committed to being healthy that I haven’t missed a day of exercise since Jan. 6!

It took me half a lifetime to learn how important it is to spend a little time on my health and well-being Ð a lesson I will never forget. Thank you, Carole Carson, and all the gym owners, for making it happen in Nevada County.
