How long I’ve lived in Nevada County: 10 years.

Why I like living here: It’s friendly, quiet and homey.



What I do in my spare time: Watch CNN. I used to embroider.

My family: Four children, 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.




Best friends: My daughter, Eleanor, and Sue Anfinson.

Favorite food: Mashed potatoes.

Job: Retired.

The best job I ever had: Working at the Marcus Whitman Hotel.

If I won $1 million: I’d share it with my family.

My favorite vacation: In Canada.

My dream vacation: I would like to go to Fessendon, N.D.

My greatest accomplishment: Raising four good children and being president of the Trail Blazers.

If I could relive my life, I would: Do it exactly the same.

What I’d change about the world: I’d like to see all countries at peace.

The most important lessons I’ve learned: Be just what you are and truthful!

The people who have made the biggest difference in my life: Having a nice family.

The best book I’ve read recently: The Bible.
