Measure D would hurt county financially

Measure D would cost taxpayers massive amounts of money, and would cut critical services such as sheriff’s protection, roads and all county discretionary funds. It would pay cash to speculators not even building, but does not protect individual owners or neighborhoods from inappropriate projects. No California county does this.

Our community’s property has risen in value, we have more jobs here than most counties, our present land policies are right. Only two or three appeals from land decisions a year have gone to the supervisors over the last six years.

Vote no on Measure D.
