Measure C will help libraries

Measure C is of vital importance to our community. We should all be concerned about the passage of Measure C in November. Measure C will extend the existing one-eighth-cent sales tax approved by the electorate in 1998. Since the inception of the tax, both the hours of operation of our libraries and books have increased.

Two new branch libraries have opened. The Internet is available.

Children’s programs have improved and increased.

Measure C must pass or the library will fall back to its previous unacceptable condition. Please vote yes on Measure C in November.

From all the residents of Grass Valley Senior Apartments, thank you to the firefighters, police department air support and everyone who responded to the Bennett Fire. God bless you all. You are all heroes.
