Male Choir

If you missed the Saturday night Grass Valley Male Choir at the United Methodist Church with ice cream social, too bad. You may not have been able to squeeze in, anyway. Those attending enjoyed two hours of wonderful songs, ice cream sundaes and cookies. The rendition of “Ghost Riders in the Sky” brought chills to the spine, a tear in the eye and recollections of times long gone. A solo by John Darlington from “Phantom of the Opera” was a credit to the original. A folk song accompanied the zither was hilarious. The choir was organized in 1997 by Eleanor Kenitzer, director.
