Make seniors pay more

Once again, the senior citizens have made it clear that they do not want Social Security reform. Even though all proposed changes would not affect their monthly checks, they have been scared by the Democrats into thinking they will receive less if change happens.

Since they are against any changes, I have a suggestion that might work. It has been shown that retiree’s over age 70 have received four times the amount they contributed to the Social Security system and that future recipients will only receive 25 percent of what they have contributed. I suggest that current retirees be taxed at a rate that will make there contribution to Social Security comparable to those who are supporting the system today.
