Lying or misleading?

I can understand why Kerry embellishes his four-month and 11-day tour of duty in Vietnam. That’s the only period he can refer to. He certainly wouldn’t bring up his anti-war activities or his Senate record. He doesn’t put forth any plans, but all he claims is that he can do better than Bush.

Every time the Republicans bring up his admission that he participated in atrocities and his testimony in Congress, he claims that they are lies. His Senate record is off limits, as far as he is concerned. He and his Democrat affiliates say that they are running a positive campaign. The only positive aspect of their campaign has been that they all hate Bush. Bush doesn’t mislead, he lies. The Democrats never lie, they mislead.

Kerry is calling for Bush to censor any ads by Bush supporters. He won’t consider censoring any anti-Bush ads!

After the latest flap over the Veterans of Vietnam TV ad, which he calls lies, his spokesperson, Stephanie Cutter said, “John Kerry is a fighter and doesn’t tolerate lies from others.” I guess that means that he only tolerates his and anti-Bush lies. Oops, they never lie!
