Low turnout is a benefit

I have no regrets about a low voter turnout. The fact is that people who care are people who are informed and they vote. Therefore, I believe those who vote in a low turnout do it because they are informed and care. Eliminating the voters who vote because of gender or race and who are not informed as to the issues and the real positions of the candidates is nothing but good. I hope the turnout continues to be based on knowledgeable thinking voters taking advantage of their right to vote.

The results of Tuesday’s vote and the turnout indicate that the real voters did their jobs.
