Loss eased by support

This has been one of the hardest times I have ever been through. With the loss of my business I have felt the loss of my identity and my place in the community, not to mention to the loss of my job for the last 17 years, the routine of my life.

I have also experienced the best life has to offer; never would I have known how many lives I have touched by being so visible in the community. Everywhere I have been, people have opened up to share their love and prayers for me, and The Herb Shop. I am in awe. One of the reasons that I moved here in 1984 was that the downtown area was so full of life and so inviting. It still is. Together as a group we will rebuild. Our downtown affects us all; it is the place that we bring our friends and relatives to see when they come to visit. It is the place we connect with each other over coffee and a little retail therapy. It is the place we love to come home to. All I can say at this point is, thank you. This community has made this challenge a lot easier to face. Just know that what I feel for you is overwhelming gratitude.
