‘Littletown’ book?

I was deeply moved to read that Vivian Herron had died. What a loss for all of us. It was a great pleasure to read her weekly columns about life in “Littletown.”

Vivian (I’m sure she would reproach me, a stranger, for calling her “Mrs.”) and her delightful humor should not be lost to future generations. So wouldn’t it be nice if The Union reprinted all 364 of her columns (or however many there are) in the form of a book – hardcover and all.

There is no greater praise I can think of to give someone than to say “I want your words to live on.” Hopefully Rich Somerville and Jeff Ackerman can be instrumental in making this happen.
