Library there for us all

Ray Bradbury, a writer of science fiction, said, “I couldn’t afford to go to college, but I graduated from the Los Angeles Public Library.”

Our library is there for us with books, the Internet and capable people to help us find what we need. Materials from other libraries are available, too – we need only ask. And since an education is a never-ending process, our libraries are essential to our youth, our working people, and our retirees.

Measure C, a continuation of the one-eighth-cent sales tax, will ensure that our libraries are there when we need them.
