Turned off by political grandstanding

We have attended the past several meetings of the Nevada County Board of Education.

We are troubled by the obvious political grandstanding of two of the five board members, Marianne Slade-Troutman and Jack Meeks, who seem to be more concerned with their re-election than the welfare of Nevada County children. This is why we are supporting Bob Altieri, Shelly Sexton and Larry Meek to serve on the Nevada County Board of Education. All three are highly qualified and have proven leadership in the field of education.

Nevada County schools will be well served by the election of Altieri, Sexton and Meek.
