Robert Joehnck: Compassion after car accident

On behalf of my 12-year-old granddaughter and myself, who were involved in an automobile accident on Highway 49 last Thursday, I would especially like to thank Matt and Russell from Dignity Health (Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital) for their efficient and thorough assistance with a health/injury screening at the accident site.

Also thanks to CHP Officer Douglas for help at the scene. And last, a special thank you to the very kind lady who chose to remain anonymous, who came over to our vehicle immediately after the accident and before any officials arrived, who had a most calming effect on my granddaughter who was quite upset at the time.
