Richard Mylin: Grateful to Nevada County Fire Safe Council

We recently had to have around 100 pine trees removed from our property. They were dead or dying due to bark beetle infestation.

Before the project began, we learned about the programs offered by the Fire Safe Council. We completed their application forms for assistance in clearing around our home to achieve our 100 foot clearance. We would like to thank Joanne Drummond and the Fire Safe Council for all their help in achieving that goal.

The Fire Safe Council has many programs designed for homeowners and senior citizens on a fixed income. Their program is dependent upon grants, contributions, donations and membership. The Fire Safe Council works very hard to provide these services to our community and we are very grateful for all their assistance.
