Ralph Hitchcock: The main reason to vote No on W

The following is to show that it is in the best interest of everybody to vote no on Measure W, and that it does not matter which side you are on concerning the marijuana issue.

There is an overwhelming reason to vote no. It is that in contrast to a normal board action, a ballot measure once passed can only be revised or rescinded by another ballot measure. This can be a difficult and time consuming process and can only be done in even numbered years.

In order to retain the all-important flexibility to be able to deal with the possible workability problems of adopted regulations, it is an absolute necessity to vote no on Measure W.
