Post office landscaping project a success

Thank you, community members who provided support for the Nevada City Post Office landscaping project.

Donations of rocks, plants, and bulbs made the volunteer effort far easier to accomplish. Verne Taylor and his Public Works crew lent some muscle and materials. Ray Bryars grubbed out tenacious roots. Homer Nottingham provided a beautiful “Pacific Sunset” maple. Thanks, also, for generous donations from Tim the Tree Man, Nevada City Farmer’s Market, Nevada City Rotary, The Gray Goose, Asylum Down and Susie Bavo.

Our town is what we make it and all of you have helped make it a little more beautiful. Thanks!

Jim and Miriam Morris
