Pee Wee football

I would just like to take a moment to thank Nevada City police officer Tim Ewing.

Officer Ewing is also the local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2655 commander. He worked with the VFW to ensure that the entire NUJM Jr. Pee Wee football team was decked out in pink for the month of October. With over 30 football players, that is not a small amount of money or time he put in to ensure our team was showing support for Breast Cancer Awareness month.

This is not the first year that Officer Ewing has donated his time and gotten donations for our football players. He has never asked for any thanks or recognition, but I think he deserves it. Thank you, Officer Ewing, and the VFW for supporting our team year after year!
