New school supplies for 400 kids

A heartfelt thanks to the community for helping Women of Worth with the 10th annual “Cool Way to Back to School” backpacks and school supplies drive.

Together, we were able to serve nearly 400 students this year with new backpacks and supplies. Thank you to our collection sites: KNCO Radio, Walker’s Office Supplies, The Union newspaper, Suburban Propane, Highway 20 Self Storage, Penn Valley; Curves, Lake of the Pines and Curves – Meadow Vista, Lyons Realty- Auburn, KAHI Radio, Pre-Plastics and Staples- Grass Valley.

A special thank you to Tori Olson and her team at Century 21 Davis Realty on La Barr Meadows Road and Sierra Pines United Methodist Church. All gave large collections of backpacks w/supplies.
