Mother’s Day diaper drive a success

The Moms Helping Moms Community Diaper Drive on Mother’s Day weekend was a huge success thanks to all of the Nevada County residents who donated so generously to the Nevada County Diaper Project.

Thanks to Safeway/Brunswick, Save Mart, Kmart and Holiday Foods in Penn Valley for supporting us on May 11, and to the pastors of Grace Lutheran, Sierra Presbyterian, Peace Lutheran and St. Patrick’s churches who did diaper collections on Mother’s Day. It was an awesome community effort and resulted in enough diapers and funds to keep our babies dry for the next several months. Thank you.
