More animals in need of loving homes

The Grass Valley Animal Shelter on Freeman Lane is overflowing with beautiful, sweet cats of all colors and ages. Some of these kitties have grown up here and would love a forever home of their own.

Many cats are indoors — only due to being born and raised indoors and because of many predators outside. We do usually have some cats that are indoors/outdoors. Always bring your small pets indoors before dusk, due to owls and coyotes.

The shelter is in need of dry Pedigree dog food, dry cat food, cat litter, clean towels/blankets, dog beds, cat toys, flea/tick products, collars, worming medicine, etc. We also need small dry kibble for little dogs.

We have Otis, an 8-month old Lhasa apso mix puppy who loves children. We have assorted small dogs,

We have two McNabbs named Pixie-bear and Piper, a 9-week old yellow lab/pitt puppy named Spongebob, a sweet Plott Hound and more. We appreciate the kindness and generosity of our community.

Thank you so much for adopting from the shelter and for helping to make the shelter animals more comfortable.
