‘Heartbreaking’ an understatement

In response to the January story in The Union, “It’s heartbreaking,” the closure of Washington Elementary School is an understatement.

For Twin Ridges School District’s current board president Ralph Henson, describing school children as being “deficit spending” is criminal. Shame on him. What a waste of our property taxpayers’ money. As one of our fourth-grade students asked, “Is this where the parasite becomes the host?”
