Mary Lou Gilbert: Sad to see computer learning center go

I’m sad and sorry to see the Gold Country Computer Learning Center closing, though I certainly understand the reasoning.

Classes there were wonderful; when I got my first-ever computer, a laptop, six years ago, I took different levels of classes to learn how to use the darn thing, then more classes and workshops for more uses, and adding my camera, etc. It was priceless; lovely knowledgeable friendly people. Since then I’ve dropped by to ask a questions or get recommendations — a wonderful source of information.

I’ll miss them all and how nice to have had this service right here in our neighborhood. Thank you, nice people.
