Marilyn Rosenbrock Nyborg: Taking responsibility for properties large and small

I recently read about the issues homeowners are faced with who border Empire Mine. The property becoming a fire hazard and promises made and broken.

It brings up another issue. We border 150 acres of beautiful forest. There has been no apparent effort to maintain any of it, putting neighbors on all sides in danger. I did write the owner to no avail. When I called the various departments I learned while there may be codes calling for maintenance, no one enforces it.

In this era, we all have to take responsibility for all properties large and small.

Goats? Controlled fires? Clearing the underbrush?
