Librarians give valuable presentation

Recently the Grass Valley Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Assn. (NARFE) were treated to a presentation by Nevada County librarians Kim Farnsworth, Youth Services Librarian at Grass Valley and Madelyn Helling Libraries and Valia Fujikawa, Library Technician and Manager of the Collaborative Technology Center at the Helling Library.

They are intelligent, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable, a combination that kept us in awe during their presentation. Many thanks to Kim and Valia for taking us on a verbal “tour” of programs for both youth and adults as well as exciting us with what we can do in the technology center. Our community is fortunate to have them in our midst.
