Larry Meek for County Board of Education

We have been professional and personal friends of Larry and Pamela Meek since 1982 when we were school administrators in Petaluma.

Our careers came together again in 1986 as principals of Bear River and Nevada Union high dchools. Pamela and my wife Beverly worked together at Roseville Sutter Hospital Hospice.

We can’t think of a better choice for a position on the Nevada County Board of Education than Larry. His professional career has spanned every position from teacher to superintendent to educational consultant in several different California school districts. Larry works collaboratively toward well thought out solutions while managing to keep the big picture focused on the best outcome for students and families.

On a personal level, Larry is very approachable, enjoys time with and supports his friends and family, is a world traveler and a lifelong learner. We will be voting for Larry Meek as well as the slate of co-candidates, Bob Altieri and Shelly Sexton, for the Nevada County Board of Education. Our schools will benefit from this choice.
