Karen Stone: How about a compromise?

Just finished reading some recent pro-Measure W comments, and am astounded that most people seem to see only in black or white.

I totally agree that 12 plants is more than enough for anyone’s medical needs. What I do not agree with is having to grow them indoors.

For someone like myself, who has many physical/emotional/mental issues that this beneficial, God given plant helps relieve, that is impossible. I live in a tiny little house, in the middle of the woods, and no one is bothered by my gardening. I choose not to take chemicals into my body that don’t belong there. Just because many people choose to take what the pharmaceutical companies and their doctors feed them, doesn’t mean people who choose differently are wrong. Being “right” has become a grave disease in our community, our country and our world.

None of us are right, we just have our different perspectives. Allow six plants or four plants or two plants per person, as long as it does not take over the air. How about a little compromise people? Meeting in the middle? Ever heard of that?
