Joseph Keeble: Where ‘conservatarians’ are coming from

After reading the recent and ongoing round of climate change columns and letters, I discovered that most of the so-called “climate deniers” are active in local Republican, Tea Party, and State of Jefferson politics.

Some of them also have blogs where they write essays about the issues of the day and host discussions on those issues. Of particular note are the blogs of George Rebane (rebaneruminations.typepad.com) and former county supervisor Todd Juvinall (sierradragonsbreathe.blogspot.com).

I urge people of all political persuasions to check these sites out for themselves. It will provide valuable insight into the ideology, rationale, and thinking of the self-described “conservatarians.”
