John Kane will be missed

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Chef John Kane of Kane’s Restaurant in Grass Valley.

He brought a nice spot of culture to our small community. His accomplishments spoke highly of him, and we were blessed to have such a giving and spirited soul among us. He was a great example of what giving back to the community you live in means. My deepest condolences to Maria, who shares his passion for our community. We are so sad.
