Jim Wofford: Science is science

In science, itself, there is no debate about evolution nor human-caused climate change, and it is not because scientists have a political or religious agenda or are part of the New World Order of Illuminati or, say, are conspiring Jews or Freemasons or are alien lizard people come to take over your lives in a totalitarian dictatorship or that they conspire in Agenda 21.

It is just what experts in scientific methods have discovered as truth in nature. The only debate about these truths is on propagandist media and the Internet and in newspaper opinion columns. If there would be a great conspiracy, it is on the part of science-deniers, the true believing blind faithers with their conspiracy theories.

The problem is that anti-science is about as popular as is Internet porn among the American public, but as in any good relations between lovers, spouses or in families, however much a minority, science is science anyway, regardless.

What is popular is not always what is true, right or good.
