Jeff Brader: Protesting NID water rate increase

NID is trying to get around the intent of Proposition 218 “Right to Vote on Taxes Act” by not holding a vote on their water rate increase and allowing protest letters only.

Don’t let NID get away with it, mail in your protest letters now. Letters should be addressed to the Nevada Irrigation District Board of Directors, Nevada Irrigation District, 1036 West Main Street, Grass Valley, California 95945.

Then sign, date, and include your address and parcel number.
